This post is in answer to the following request: "Maybe a sticky at the White Race site letting folks know to clean out their cache may be helpful for folks who haven't come back yet since the hacking."

There is little reason to use a browser cache with a high speed connection, as well as the fact that the cache is a serious security problem. I recommend just turning it off. In Firefox, click tools, options, advanced and note the size of the disk cache. Set this number to 0 (zero). Also clear the cache, or better, find the cache on disk, and use a program such as Eraser to overwrite (and hence prevent the files from being undeleted) the entire cache. Click OK.
